Northeastern won beat Holy Cross, 3-2, on Monday night. The Huskies' three goals came from sophomore Kristen Kowalik, senior Liz Dyjak and junior Filippa Petruccelli. Kowalik scored the first goal of the game unassisted at 52:37. She kicked the ball into the lower right corner off of a deflection from a defender. It is her third goal of the season. Holy Cross had an unassisted goal at 70:26 off the foot of Mary Jones. Liz Dyjak put the score back in Northeastern's favor off of a penalty kick by shooting a line drive into the back left of the goal at 81:30. Late in the second half, a Northeastern defender into her won goal after attempting to clear the ball. The goal went to Holy Cross sophomore Lisa Demari at 86:57. Northeastern's Filippa Petrucelli scored the game-winner at 95:07. Her goal was assisted by freshman Laura Johnson and Liz Dyjak.
