NU 15th at NCAA Regional meet
The Huskies placed 15th at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship on Saturday at Van Courtlandt Park in Bronx, N.Y. The Huskies were led once again by Brittany Moriarty, who placed 41st in a time of 22:35.0 for the 6K course. Kristen Martin (74th in 23:12.8) and Jessica Barton (107th in 23:45.9) were the second and third Huskies across the line. Rounding out NU's scoring were Jillian Buck (133rd in 24:11.1) and Brittney McDonald (164th in 24:37.7).

Huskies fourth at CAA Championship
Northeastern posted its highest finish ever at the CAA Championship, placing fourth out of 10 teams on Saturday at Bull Run Park in Centreville, Va. The Huskies were led by Brittany Moriarty, who earned All-CAA honors by placing fifth in a time of 21:30 for the 6K course. Behind Moriarty, sophomore Kristen Martin took 14th with a time of 21:59 and sophomore Jessica Barton took 21st in 22:19. Northeastern finishes the season by competing in the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship on Nov. 15 at Van Courtlandt Park.

Moriarty named CAA Runner of the Week
Brittany Moriarty was named the CAA Runner of the Week for the second consecutive week the conference announced Oct. 14. Moriarty received the honors after finishing ninth at the New England Championship. She ran a time of 18:04. Last week she earned the honor after after running a 22:14 in the 6K course at the George Mason Invitational on Saturday at Bull Run Park in Centreville, Va. She placed 10th overall.

Huskies eighth at New England Championship
Northeastern placed eighth at the New England Championship on Oct. 11, the team's highest placing in several years. The Huskies were led by ninth-place finisher Brittany Moriarty, who ran a time of 18:04. Two other Huskies were under 19:00 - Jessica Barton (18th in 18:25) and Kristen Martin (30th in 18:31). The Huskies are back in action with the CAA Championship on Nov. 1 in Centreville, Va.

Moriarty received the honor after running a 22:14 in the 6K course at the George Mason Invitational on Saturday at Bull Run Park in Centreville, Va. She placed 10th overall and was the top runner from any CAA school.

Huskies fourth at George Mason
Brittany Moriarty placed 10th overall to lead Northeastern to a fourth place finish in the George Mason Invitational on Saturday at Bull Run Park in Centreville, Va. Virginia won the meet and Northeastern was the top CAA team on the day. Sophomore Kristen Martin placed 20th in 22:40 and senior Kristie Gagnon took 23rd in 22:48. NU is back in action at the New England Championship at Franklin Park in Boston on Oct. 11.
