CAA Cross Country Championship
The Huskies' were led by Emily Watson, who completed the 6,000 meter course in 23:27 to place 23rd overall. Erin Ballard placed 34th in 23:44 and freshman Brittany Moriarty placed 38th. Rounding out NU's top five were Laura McCloskey (47th in 24:17) and Amber Cullen (50th in 24:21).
William & Mary totalled 35 points, ahead of second-place James Madison (46), Georgia State (116), Delaware (122), Northeastern, Towson and Hofstra (163), UNC Wilmington (197), Virginia Commonwealth (205) and George Mason (318).
Northeastern hosts the NCAA Northeast Regional at Franklin Park on Saturday, Nov. 12, where teams from New England and New York will be competing for berths to the NCAA Championship.

Wilmington, NCNortheastern tied for fifth out of 10 teams in its first-ever Colonial Athletic Association cross country championship on Saturday in Wilmington, N.C. The Huskies totalled 163 points, even with both Towson and Hofstra as William & Mary won its third-straight CAA title. The meet was Northeastern's first CAA Championship in any sport.
